Setting boundaries are a crucial part of creating and maintaining healthy relationships. Relationships can be ones that are personal, professional, or social.  Boundaries help people to understanding what is acceptable to you and what is not.  Boundaries help foster your connections and teach people how to show up for you. 

Types of Boundaries

Physical Boundaries: Physical refers to the space you and other people or things take up.  A physical boundary includes your personal space. 

Emotional Boundaries: Emotional boundaries focus around your feelings and emotions. 

Intellectual Boundaries:  Intellectual boundaries pertain to thoughts, ideas, and intellectual property. 

Sexual Boundaries: There are different aspects of sexuality and intimacy. 

Material Boundaries: Material boundaries focuses on possessions, money and resources.

Time Boundaries: Time boundaries focuses around how you or others may use your time.
